Dimitris of World Anvil
Background
Centuries ago, in the days before the Great Virus, there was one website which captured people's wonder and imagination; World Anvil. Unfortunately, the Great Virus has corrupted most of this ancient website's data. Computer Archeologists have managed to restore some of World Anvil's database, and have stored the data under the World Anvil Archive. The significance of this archive is it is the only recovered database which contains original works of that era.
The Founders
Digital Discoverers have managed to find out World Anvil was a website for writers to create fictional worlds. The authors of these worlds are still yet to be uncovered, however, Digital Discoverers have managed to find the Developer and Founder of this relic; Dimitris. From the recovered data, there is also a second Founder, but Computer Archeologists are unable to conclude who this person was.
World Anvil also had a team of people, as well as many members who were highly regarded. Many members we have discovered to be Guild Members and there were many levels of Guild Members. The titles of these members are yet to be decoded.
Much about the second founder of World Anvil is unknown. They were possibly a partner or even a spouse. We can also confirm, this person liked raptors, bananas and ordered their website users to "grab your hammers and go world build!"
The World Anvil Archives
Digital Discoverers have released the data to the public. The World Anvil Archives is free and can be accessed here. More worlds are continuously being recovered and released.Who was Dimitris?
There are yet to be more data of Dimitris to be recovered. It is concluded, by the current recovered data, Dimitris was adored by all users of World Anvil, the Guild Members and especially the mysterious second founder. He was loved so much, the World Anvil Community would take part in a Birthday Challenge; where the community would implement Dimitris into their worlds as a gesture to say, 'Happy Birthday'.
Today, there are people across Sol and on Eco-1 who have taken part to create their own World Anvil Community. Many residents of Eco-1, especially, who have taken up the hobby of World Building also follow the footsteps of the ancient World Anvil Community. Every year in December, the current World Anvil Community take part in an event called World Ember. A challenge for Worldbuilders to write new content for their worlds.
Even though the World Anvil Community of today do not know much about the ancient ones, they regard these people as legends. They also see Dimitris in the same regard as their predecessors. Each year on the 15th February, the current World Anvil Community take part in the Birthday challenge. A heartfelt tradition for the World Anvil Community to say to the Developer of World Anvil:
