Eidelie

"Cetoile is a land rightly famous for its cheeses. Among these varied delights, one name rises to become the sublime rind of all Cetoilais cheese -- Eidelie! Lauded queen of the valley, chieftaness of cheeses! Gourmands worldwide salute you for your contributions to the culinary crafts."
— Extract from M. Zarisfarnaros's A Guide to the Western Cheeses
Eidelie is a quiet village nestled in Cetoile's south famous for its cheeses and butters. The verdant valley in which it lies is a good day's travel north of the Cetoile-Aragonian border. Its bucolic population, numbering around five hundred, is made primarily of humans, elves, and their intermingled get. The village is overall a pleasant place content with its lot, happy to care for its cows and tend the land. It exports its products to Aragonia as well as across Cetoile. Generations of artisans have perfected the dairy arts. Eidelais butter and cheese fetch a hefty price in urban areas, but for those who make the journey to the village, they will find the products affordable. Eidelais are Cetoilais first. To them, their food is love, and love ought to be shared.
