Way of the Scrounge

There has always been a little luck in your corner, and you have found ways to get just about everything you could ever want or need, just by looking around. You’ve had a penchant for picking things up and finding uses for them that others simply might overlook. To be honest, you could probably last longer than most in the wastelands, because you are a little less discriminating than others, but then again, you are the perfect complement to any salvage, research, or collection job available. So don’t expect to be the boss of an adventure; you probably would just settle for what you find along the road. But nearly every job out there has to depend on a person like you to find the tiny bit of hope, or that engine whatsit or that electronic deelybobber… and lo and behold, you have had it with you all along. You may not always eat well, but at least you can find a breath mint in the dustbin when you need it the most!

– a combination between a burglar and a pickpocket, Clippers are experts at getting things. Beyond the basics of the “finder” or “scrounge”, the Clipper is called upon when recovery or liberation of items fall beyond the boundaries of propriety, into the gray area of what is legal, and what is ‘right’. (A cadre member that is a Scrounge can attain this role if they practice their arts along more dangerous, and less opportunistic courses.)
