Down Shift NERTH: New World Disorder

Using DownShift Passages Systembook
The Nerth World is based on the DownShift Passage Systenbook
"There may be those that remember Old Earth, but honestly, it really doesn't matter anymore. Some basic rules define the boundaries of existence, and there are no exceptions to them. By them, you will live out a life of luxury, of pleasure, of peace with all that surrounds you. With these rules as your fences, you will bask in the pastures and feed at the trough of the cornucopia. By your accession to these simple guideposts, you will find your world bounded by sanity and responsible living. I put them down here for you that follow, not because I hold any hope we will ever pass that way again, that we will rediscover the Old Ways. Instead, I put them down here, so you won't.   When you consider the future, what do you see? Glistening superhighways with grand caravans of the Golden Line or Global Western brands, bringing you the precious food and supplies you so desperately need? Do you see the brave road guardians, putting their sophisticated weapons between the hordes of ghouls and raiders, and bringing home the bacon? Do you see the mighty walls of your city, stalwart against the madness of the Badlands? Then you stand today with your brethren and turn your back on the unredeemed, those unworthy of the blessings of this High City.   But woe to you, if you see the greatness of HOME as a culturally isolated backwater. Do we not have dancers from the far east, from faraway Indiana with us this night? Can you not walk among those of the Western Wilderness of Grand Junction? Are you not enriched by the wisdom brought all the way from San Antonio by way of the Postal Express?   If you cannot share in these wonders, perhaps you do not belong among us. Follow the rules. Live by the Code. Share what you have. And all will be well in St. Claire."   The preamble to the First Laws of Nerth
