NYR 2025
2024 Wrap Up
What a great journey this last year was!
I began my WA adventure right as Summer Camp was kicking off. At the time, I had no clear direction—just a love for writing and a desire to explore. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure where my writing was leading me until just recently, in January 2025, when everything I had written suddenly clicked into place. That moment of realization made me even more grateful for this incredible community—a space filled with inspiring authors who encourage me daily to read, learn, and create.
In 2024 I wrote a total of 46k words and 108 articles!
Plans for 2025
This year, I want to bring to life the story that has been living in my mind for so long. Moving forward, I’ll be more intentional with challenge prompts, focusing on those that align with my world and setting aside the ones that don’t quite fit. If I do decide to include off-topic prompts, I’ll mark them accordingly and simply enjoy the creative detour.
I also plan to refine and reshape some of my existing articles to better align with the direction I envision for Comhlaidir. What started as scattered challenge responses can evolve into something richer—interwoven pieces that strengthen the world I’m building. Comhlaidir has become a second home to me, and I want to guide it with purpose.
Here’s to another year of discovery and storytelling!
Three Proudest Articles
Inspiration and Knowledge
By Eternal Sage kitoypoy. From this article I learned how to write about something without over-explaining it and still get my point across. I found it to be amazingly well written! I also loved the images that accompanied the article.
By Sage Catoblepon is a very interesting article that leads readers and participants into a quest for more information. At least that is how I understand it. You follow different "quests" and unlock "achievements" in order to get the full article. The article leads you to another part of the world where you are introduced to the world and where you start in your journey here. It is creative and artistic! A lot of work was put here.
By Grandmaster Thereasonwhy has such beautiful art that just based on that made me want to read it. I do not think I can draw and especially not like that, but I understand that visuals are just as important! What a beautiful combination of words and images.
By Grandmaster elspeth87. The simple yet amazingly designed article had me shocked! It looks amazing! I need to learn how to design my articles in order to make them flow and not look like I am info dumping on my page!
By Grandmaster elspeth87 taught me how to write a fun language. This prompt always shows up and I always overcomplicate it. This author did a great job at teaching me a new language without making me feel like I was studying for a test. It did not feel overwhelming and it was very easy to follow!
By Sage AsterVela taught me how to link up previous works withing the same world in order to expand it. It is very nice written and easy to read!
By Grandmaster cow2face wrote a short yet very descriptive article. I learned that sometimes less is better and this article is the best example of it! It is great.
