Mortals

Overview

Humans in the Material plan of existence, often called mortals. Though the common world tends to be ignorant of the supernatural, Supernatural creature's mistakes have been hidden behind superstition, myths, legends but with the advent of technology and the continued disbelief of myths and monsters their secrets are far less unknown than they would want. below are groups, jobs and talents commonly leveraged toward the supernatural

The Hermetic Orders
A magician also known as a mage, warlock, witch, wizard/wizardess, enchanter/enchantress, or sorcerer/sorceress is someone who uses or practices magic derived from supernatural, occult, or arcane sources.

Hunters
Hunters, Witch Hunter, Slayers are commonly used labels for an occupation in history and fiction which specializes in finding and destroying vampires, and sometimes other supernatural creatures. A hunter is usually described as having extensive knowledge of vampires and other monstrous or undead creatures, including their powers and weaknesses, and uses this knowledge to effectively combat them.

Hunters range in characterization from sages with more than average knowledge about the occult, to athletes with the skill and ability to confront The supernatural with traditional or holy weapons often including wooden stakes and holy water, to supernatural beings themselves who fight vampires with mystical powers.

The Church
The Church fathers Augustine and Aquinas enabled others in the Church to include the vampire, werewolf, and witches in Christian dogma by making them heretical scapegoats. Further, the Church fortified these fears in the mind of men while providing protection from them through the Inquisition

True Faith
A power held by the truly devout. With True Faith, for example, a brandished cross can have an effect on a vampire, fallen, mage, werewolf, wraith or changeling instead of being merely an empty symbol of the creed. Faith can come from many different beliefs, such as Christianity, Islam, or Judaism, and even virtuous pagans can resist the lure of darkness if their faith is true.
