Syssrah
Syssrah, or snake men as they’re often called, have the upper body of a man and the lower body of a snake. Syssrah hail from the deserts of Syssrinya, a hot sandy waste, which hardly seems capable of supporting their rich culture. Syssrah have the most organized armies of the northern night kingdoms and the largest navy in the world, second to only mighty Doljinaar. Syssrah are experts in poisons and the alluring mind magic of the Psionart, driving their enemies mad or even making Mind Slaves.
Snake Men have been known to erect pyramids and monuments on the backs of other races in their northeastern homeland. Some Syssrah have snaked their way into the black markets out west and have become shrewd traders in the shadows, hawking a wide array of exotic merchandise, strange beasts and slaves from far off lands. The Syssrah are perhaps concealing far more secrets than just the poisons at the tips of their spears.
