Item Description

  This Quarterstaff is enchanted to act as a magical conduit for defensive spells. Even while used offensively, it can provide a decent amount of defense through it's Spells and Charges.

Charges

This staff has a number of charges it uses for effects and abilities, equal to it's Magic Item Power and the proficiency bonus of it's wielder. At the end of every Long Rest the wielder takes, the staff regenerates 1d6 charges, up to it's max.  

Magic Item Overload: The Magic Goes Away

If you expend the item's last charge, roll a 1d20 . On a 1, the staff shatters and is destroyed.  

Staff Abilities

The wielder of the staff may expend a number of charges to cast any of the listed abilities. Doing so uses 1 action / ◈, regardless of the base use time of the ability. If wielder has the ability in their repertoire or library, or they can use it through other means, those ability use times are also reduced to ◈. The DC for any ability that requires one is 10 + Any of your casting attributes or CON + your proficiency bonus.
