On worlds where gunpowder exists, oftentimes some cultures will incorporate firearms into their history. As such, the Ancestral Pistol, sometimes called a Clan Pistol or Family Arm, will be a result of such. Weapons like this are passed down through generations or are crafted as part of a rite of passage.

Some have the names of people the creator wishes to dispatch for one reason or another, while others were made in the character's long history as a commander, hero, or slayer of great scaled beasts.
