The Ratton are ratfolk that are small, relatively short-lived, and exceptionally clever in comparison to other ancestries. The world they came from was a world of spiritual awareness, duality, and ‘African mythology’; but their nature and adaptability allow them to persist anywhere.
Physically, they are easily mistaken for other rodentia people, like the Ysoki, but have cultural differences that are still important to understand. Namely that they are far more like Skaven, without the racism, or Asura, with rats instead of moles. And, most importantly, legally distinct, as long as you don’t subtract a t, and add a ‘ga’.
