Item Description

The pale sludge in this bottle doesn't pour easily. But it does answer the time time honored question, depending on the plane "Is Grease flammable?"

By spending an action / ◈, you can throw the bottle as a Thrown⚙️ weapon with a range equal to 10 ft x your STR. If you hit, it splatters on the creature or in a single 10 ft square of you target. Creatures exposed to the Grease at the end of their turns (either by trudging through or being covered in it) must pass a Reflex saving throw vs DC 15. On failure, they fall Prone.

The grease will ignite if the creature or space comes into contact with anything with the Fire trait (either used by the creature or by another), or if you Critically Succeeded on the throw. When the Grease ignites, affected targets takes 1d6 Fire damage at the start of every round, as long as the grease remains.

Creatures and objects covered in Grease can use 3 actions / ◈◈◈ to remove it, or 1 action ◈ / if exposed to a source that can smother the fire. Unattended, the Grease will persist for 10 minutes, even when on Fire. Water will not put out Grease set ablaze.
