Item Description

This bag's interior space is considerably larger than it's outside dimensions, while the outside adorns a Rune or Design signifying it's purpose.

A Bag of Holding is the end result of adding a Rune of Holding to an ordinary container, be it a sack, a messenger bag, or whatever else. The bag's inner space expands to hold whatever is put into it, growing or shrinking to fit whatever is put into it. The bag itself will hold 10 times it's Bulk at max, and weigh as much as whatever is put into it, divided by 20.

As an example, if 40 Bulk/~200 kg/~400 lbs of Stone is put into a Bag of Holding that can normally hold up to 10 Bulk, the Bag would end up weighing 4 Bulk.

Interacting with the Bag takes 3 Actions to add or remove items. Though the bag can hold a great amount of material, an object still needs to be able to fit through the opening of the bag to be stored inside. If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, ruptured, turned inside out, or destroyed; its contents spill forth, unharmed. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate if they don't attempt to escape (DC 13, or 10 + Bag's Item level). An item in the bag can't be detected by magic that detects only things on the same plane. Placing a Bag of Holding inside an extradimensional space created by a non-Rune of Holding item, such as a Portable Hole instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to another local plane (such as the Astral Plane). The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the plane. The gate then closes after 10 minutes, and cannot be reopened.

As a Rune

The magic of this item can be placed or transferred to a Rune for storage and/or later enchanting via the corresponding activity. The enchant is the "of Holding" enchant, and the rune would called a "Rune of Holding." as well.   This Rune can be placed on any container, though by default the item becomes a Bag of Holding
