Condition: Bleeding⚙️
When a creature takes lingering damage over time, usually as a particularly deep gash, a wound that is weeping and infected, or anything related to the manipulation of Blood.
Bleeding is a damage type and condition that’s about physical damage (Bludgeoning, Piercing, Slashing, Spirit…mostly slashing let’s be real) being dealt over time, lingering long after the blow.
something something Slay the Spire Poison.
Trait Mechanic⚙️
Bleeding Damage is not applied immediately, but is ‘saved’ in a condition that gives a numbered stack. At the end of a creature’s turn, they take damage equal to the amount of Bleeding damage it has. After taking the damage, the stack is reduced by half (rounded down), otherwise, Bleeding can stack infinitely.
A creature (be it the afflicted or an ally) can spend 1 Standard Action / ◈ to halve the stack harmlessly.
