Moon Dragon festival

So, do you want to meet under the full moon?
— One student to another
The Moon Dragon festival is celebrated once or twice a year during the biggest supermoon. The duration of the festival is three days, where the middle day is a holiday.
You know, maybe they actually are there but they were just hiding on the dark side?

History

While the people of Earth know that dragons are the figments of imagination, the people of Breck's Haven have always believed them to be real.   According to earlier beliefs, they thought that the Dragons had lived on Earth but when the humans started fighting with the magical abilities that the dragons had given them they moved to the moon. They tried to get the Dragons to return with festivals to their honor.   When the humans of Earth landed on the moon in 1969 the people living in Breck's Haven had to concede to the "truth". There were no dragons, at least not on the moon.   They continued with their festivals though, dragons, they believed, enjoyed festivals.   Who doesn't enjoy festivals?

The Festival

The festival starts at midday during the first day and lasts for 60 hours, ending at midnight on the last day, and contains art exhibits, musical numbers, speeches, theatrical performances, and performances of other kinds. All hours of the day are covered.   There is also food, drink, candy, art, jewelry, clothing, toys, face painting, balloon animals, photo booth, games, lottery, and home decor stalls open during the entire 60 hours.   The main festival always takes place in the center square of Brecksgard, in front of Breckskeep. There are also smaller versions of the festival in the center squares of the smaller settlements.   There is an urban legend that if you kiss under the full moon after having done a couple of things your love will last for eternity.
