Baeleris

At its very heart, Baeleris is a Gothic Horror Setting. Darkness and mystery are central elements of my worldbuilding, and the sprawling city of Ravenspire is a haunting homage to the macabre. Baeleris is a world about shadowy alleys, towering spires, and ancient secrets. It’s about decadency, moral decay, intrigue, and treachery. Ghosts and vampires are way more present here, then dragons or ogres–or even orcs.

Baeleris features Victorian Age technology! The technology level is based on the real world in 1895, and there are unique and new armor rules, including the respective materials and items! The starting kits for classes have been reworked, and a lot of tools and gadgets were added to the merchants. And there is even more! The continent Mechanika features Steampunk-elements, which will add even more options!

Amidst the haunting landscapes of Baeleris lie the remnants of lost civilizations, their ruins a testament to forgotten glories and tragedies of bygone eras. Weather-worn structures stand as silent sentinels, adorned with intricate carvings that hint at untold mysteries. The echoes of ancient rituals and enigmatic chants still resonate through the desolate halls, inviting adventurers to uncover the enigmas and treasures concealed within the crumbling walls.

Nobles scheme against one another, their ambitions shrouded in secrecy and betrayal. Within Ravenspire's heart, the Veiled Society's enigmatic presence fuels suspicion and uncertainty, blurring the line between friend and foe. Amidst this labyrinth of deception, characters must navigate the delicate balance of power and conscience, facing the haunting allure of darkness.
