Zadoki

Zadoki, also preferably known as Zadki, is the Idin Yashelin who oversees the legal and clerical side of Aravun Yashelin society. They are the Decenir, as well as the hearthmate, of the Serayin Gafir. The most important legal cases of Aravun Yashelin society are often debated before Zadki. Their position as a judge has given them a highly respected, yet fraught, relationship with fellow members of their community.
After the Aravun Civil War, Zadki sentenced numerous Yashelin to exile as an "unfortunate and tragic necessity." They still stand by their previous judgment in the light of the information - and the laws - they were following at the time, but they have expressed a degree of regret in hindsight via the expeditious nullification of many of the "moral panic laws" put into place after the war.
Gafir temporarily separated from Zadki at the tail end of the moral panic. Zadki is glad to have their hearthmate back, but still hasn't fully come to terms with the reasons why. They have gotten quieter in the public sphere, lately, as they have focused much of their attention inward on themself and their secretive loved one.
They are known for their stern, studious nature above all else. Sometimes, they may come off as rudely critical of people and ideas outside of their comfort zone. Although sometimes difficult to push past their stern outer layer, with enough evidence, Zadki's judgment can change and they are open about admitting to their change of heart.
