Ezeki

Ezeki is the first and oldest of all Yashelin and the fifth and youngest of the Ofanin. It is the prevailing leader of the Aravun Yashelin people in the Ida's absense, though it prefers to leave most of the responsibility to the Ezekoru.
Instead, Ezeki focuses its attention on the cultural health of its society. It highly values education, with a strong emphasis on the promotion of literacy and oratory. It can usually be found pursuing such tasks at the Kotuye Library and Education Center, which doubles as its home, alongside other members of the Zezu Flock. It is a proud storyteller and loves fables most of all.
Although Ezeki always knew that it was other than Serayin, it did not know until recently that it was the Ofanin of Consciousness. As a result of this and an upswing in its health, Ezeki has begun to take a greater interest in much broader tasks, including authoring this codex. It feels that it has a responsibility to record the stories of the planets of both Aravu and Kivria, so that it will not be the only person who remembers and can tell its stories when everyone else inevitably fades.

Physical

General Appearance

At first glance, Ezeki is an exceptionally tall and slim Yashelin with comically fluffy brown wings in comparison to the rest of its body. It would likely strike an imposing figure, if only it did not also look likely to fall asleep at any given moment.
Ezeki's most defining feature is its pale skin, strikingly so compared to the average Yashelin. It is nearly translucent and often described as sickly. While its pallor improves with an adequent diet and sun exposure, Ezeki would be the first to admit that it participates in neither of these things nearly enough while doing little to improve its own condition.
Ezeki is recovering from chronic health issues which have gotten dramatically worse due to recent stress. Depite its still pervasive sickly pallor, its physical condition has gone from abyssmally poor to the poorest side of middling, a massive victory to it and to its loved ones.

Special Abilities

Unfailing Memory

Ezeki is able to remember events which happened far in the past with nigh exacting detail.
Limitations: Its recall is subject to personal bias and the far past is not an immediate recall.

Past Sight

Ezeki may recall the others' memories as if they are its own, and often does so with much more accuracy.
Limitations: May only be triggered using leading phrases, such as if it asks for someone to tell it their story.

Universal Translator

Ezeki can comprehend and communicate in all languages, regardless of whether they are spoken, written, or signed.
Limitations: Ezeki is so used to speaking in Ivu only that it takes it a while to shift over to another language comfortably.

Suggestion

Ezeki can influence those around it with purposeful and properly phrased statements, even against their will.
Limitations: Previous exposure and spiritual strength increases the probability that the person can resist the suggestion.
