Dendarian Ichor Infection
See the Dendarian Ichor Exerpt from the Ridweth Encyclopedia of Ailments, Volume 21.
Transmission & Vectors
The infection caused by Dendarian ichor is transmitted through contact with the substance itself. Since the ichor is mildly intelligent, it attempts to come in contact with any being it comes near. This usually manifests as the substance lunging out at nearby victims. Once contact with the skin is made, the individual is infected. There have been no known cases of an infected individual becoming contagious to surrounding people.
Symptoms
The infection will change the color of the skin at the point of contact black, and spider web-like tendrils will begin to spread from the point of contact to the rest of the body. Physical symptoms in the early stages only show when an attempt is made to cure the victim. The ichor will cause immense pain, usually causing treatment to halt. Past this stage very little is known.

Prognosis
If the infection runs its course, the victim will lose any sense of their previous self and become a servant of Dendar. There is little else documenting this stage.
