Ranger of Calize in the Third Age. Close friend of Pip Garthyk, who he befriended in the spring of TA 3186, when Pip arrived on Arn.
Darian brought Pip to Onéa, where he taught the half-orc the language and some of the Calizan culture and customs. Whenever Darian returned to Onéa from his frequent patrolling, he made it a point to check in on Pip and even help him polish his fighting skills . Darian was taken prisoner, with Pip and the Strangers, when Onéa was attacked in TA 3186. The group’s escape from the Sindaerin prison has been attributed, in part, to Darian’s quick thinking.
A Ranger whose features and manner reflect the northern region of his birth: rugged, dangerous, at times unforgiving and yet other times serene and strangely comforting.
