Sensory & Appearance

This room is tastefully decorated, compared to the spartan designs of the rest of quasqueton.

Denizens

This is the bedchambers of Mistress Melissa. After it was reclaimed, she moved back in and retains her position of Keeper of Quasqueton.

Contents & Furnishings

There is a large walnut bed against the west wall that is ornatly carved. It's covered in a canopy of green cloth with a stricking embrodered red trim.

Next to the bed is a small nightstand with a single drawer.

Besides the nightstand is a chest of drawers made of Red Cedar, which despite it's age, still retains the characteristic smell. Inside the drawers are an assortment of leather items, old clothing, and personal effects like combs, brushes and hairpins.

One Comb is a silver plated item with is worth 5gp.

On top of the chest is a tortis shell dish that rests upon a frilly lace cloth along with two small capped bottles with half full perfumes.

On the north wall,

is a full-lengh wall mirror in a wooden frame. The ornately carved with attractive curved designes that crowns on the top. The words hewn on top is written in common

"To the fairest of all in my eyes"

In the northwest corner of the room is an attractive water basin which is sculpted from the same rock as the wall in the room. The protrusion is an intergal part of the wall itself. A hole in the bottom of the basin is stopped with a rotting cork: This crude drain lets water drop to an inclined piece of rock which drain isnto a crack in the all. there is no running water in the room, however.   A small tapestry that measured 3ft by 4ft hangs on the east wall.

It depicts a hansom and robust warrior carrying off a beautiful maiden in a rescue scene. A village on fire can be seen behind the warrior as a haord of ominous-looking enemies viewing them form afar.

Embrodered gold clothat the top of the scene are the words:

"To Melissa, the most dearly won and greatest of all my treaturses"

The tapestry is affixed to the wall. It cannot be removed without damaging the frame or the tapestry.

Should anyone remove the tapestry and recover the image alone, they could get about 40gp... but there is a HIGH chance no one will buy it due to the reputation of who is in the picture, and where it comes from.
