Quasqueton Room #24 - Mistress' Room
Purpose / Function
This is Mistress Melissa's personal chambers.
Design
This room is rectanguar in design.

To the south, the doorway leads back to the hallway.

Sensory & Appearance
This room is tastefully decorated, compared to the spartan designs of the rest of quasqueton.
Denizens
This is the bedchambers of Mistress Melissa. After it was reclaimed, she moved back in and retains her position of Keeper of Quasqueton.
Contents & Furnishings
There is a large walnut bed against the west wall that is ornatly carved. It's covered in a canopy of green cloth with a stricking embrodered red trim.
Next to the bed is a small nightstand with a single drawer.
Besides the nightstand is a chest of drawers made of Red Cedar, which despite it's age, still retains the characteristic smell. Inside the drawers are an assortment of leather items, old clothing, and personal effects like combs, brushes and hairpins.
One Comb is a silver plated item with is worth 5gp.
On top of the chest is a tortis shell dish that rests upon a frilly lace cloth along with two small capped bottles with half full perfumes.
On the north wall,
In the northwest corner of the room is an attractive water basin which is sculpted from the same rock as the wall in the room. The protrusion is an intergal part of the wall itself. A hole in the bottom of the basin is stopped with a rotting cork: This crude drain lets water drop to an inclined piece of rock which drain isnto a crack in the all. there is no running water in the room, however. A small tapestry that measured 3ft by 4ft hangs on the east wall.
It depicts a hansom and robust warrior carrying off a beautiful maiden in a rescue scene. A village on fire can be seen behind the warrior as a haord of ominous-looking enemies viewing them form afar.
Embrodered gold clothat the top of the scene are the words:
The tapestry is affixed to the wall. It cannot be removed without damaging the frame or the tapestry.

is a full-lengh wall mirror in a wooden frame. The ornately carved with attractive curved designes that crowns on the top. The words hewn on top is written in common just west of the secret door
"To the fairest of all in my eyes"

Should anyone remove the tapestry and recover the image alone, they could get about 40gp... but there is a HIGH chance no one will buy it due to the reputation of who is in the picture, and where it comes from.
Valuables
Journal of Mistress Melissa is found inside the nightsand drawer.
Architecture
This room matches the walls of quasqueton. It's rectangular in design but spouts amenities not found in other rooms.
