Mouse
Mouse doesn’t like the term “thief.” Not that it’s inaccurate, she just feels it’s lacking in nuance. What she does is so much more than simple stealing! Confidence woman, swindler, hustler, lightfinger, trickster, entrepeneur, diplomat, all those are terms she prefers. She arrived in Ard’vanwa when she was a very young girl, and was taken in by a man named Mort Fletcher, a portly and kind-faced gentleman who was even then plotting the formation of the city’s first thieves guild. The traumatized young girl didn’t tell Mort her name, so he called her Mouse. Eventually, she forgot her real name entirely. She was taught from a very early age how to use her looks and charms to trick, distract, and get what she wants out of people of all walks of life, and she puts those skills to use now for the guild.
