Divine Magic

Manifestation
Divine magic often takes on a warm glow or golden radience.
Through concentration, mantras, and holy scriptures that venerate a patron diety, a follower of that diety can perform amazing feats and miracles that can even restore a person from beyond death.
Divine magic is not flashy or showy like magic-users. Some dieites may wish thier followers to cast their spells thorugh agressive mantras, it's wholely up to the contract between the Devoted and the devotee.
A devotee will learn a spell from their patron diety by meditating on the spell they wish to learn. The patron will then bestow the passages and mantras needed to excitute this.
This must be done when the devotee is well rested, so they must choose wisely before ventureing out into the world.
Localization
One's connection to the divine can be strenghtend by a totem or holy symbol, but a cleric's connection is not severed, should they lose it.
The holy symbol itself is unique for each cleric, as it is a representation of their connection to the divine. The symbol should evolve over time as the lessions one learns in life is eched into it.
A holy symbol is a promise between the cleric and diety. The diety will protect his chosen avatar, who will demonstrate the power of his divine patron. This display will bring about more worhsipers... those who believe in the cleric, also believes in the diety, which strenghtens them, allowing them to create more clerics and bestow their powers to more people.
