This rough rumble tangled head of hair belongs to the best friend in the world. His heavy cloak keeps the world out when it becomes too much. A quick flick and the hood blocks out the burdensome noise and prying eyes in the hallway.
"Aw, not over my eyes." Junuh chided.
He has a lot of rules.
The library lights flickered as we passed. He reached for a ladder and rolled it back to the Components and Ingredients section. He spotted a sweet looking manual on the top shelf.
I got it.
Hmm, you would think books would be able to fly . The covers open and pages flutter all the way down to the floor.
"Seriously?" Junuh climbed back down the ladder.
When all the people around us stop and look, it's time to get back under the cloak.
"Excuse me Master Sage, I lost my balance." Junuh recovered quick from my impact.
His reflexes are getting better every day. We'll study back at the Inn. As a student at the library he can take books with him. Got to give him a moment to gather his things for the walk home.
At the end of the hall the heavy door groaned with each student that opened it. They don't have a super stealthy ninja door opener extraordinaire!
"Door please." Junuh knew my value.
The heavy door to the library opened with a rush of air. Outside people wandered everywhere. It is hard to imagine how they all know where they are going next. Days could be spent watching where they ambled.
Down on the street below Junuh dodged and weaved through the crowd. Outside the inn, he whistled three times. Full speed ahead! It's a coordinated dance.
"Oof." Junuh breathed heavy and stepped inside with his best friend on his back. No one knows he has an invisible dragon on his back. I bet you didn't know either.
