River Bend

My 1st Wildlands one-shot is published! Check Out Mystery of Thorngage Manor

Written by George Sanders

From youth to adulthood River Bend wandered the forests, plains, and mountains. It is said that curiousity is the one emotion that is more powerful than fear. In River Bend's case, he may have been entirely missing the wiring for fear, leaving an insatiable curiousity that pulled him like a compass. His wanderlust also wasn't out of a need to be alone with nature as sometimes he would travel to settlements and stay for weeks or months. The next leg of the journey would call to him and his pack would be ready by the next morning.

Background

River Bend sketched, wrote, and documented everything he saw. He studied under the Druids of the Everflow. He soaked in the paths along the length of Iwgolon River at least four times by the time he was twenty-five years old. He summited four peaks of the Sychmist Range in that same time and traveled to every Barangay in the lowlands.

His chosen lifestyle may not have been ideal for family life but he made strong bonds with many people he met. The closest of those became his family. Fallen Lief and Silver Lace were his primary partners. Violet Sparkle completed his quad and often traveled with him. He had several kits with Silver Lace, including Gift of Dead Birds.

Description

River Bend is slightly below average height and has a slim build, built for endurance not strength. His tone body equally ready for a hike through the forest or climb up a cliff. He has a quick insight into people and a talent for nature magic. He is an agitator and driver of change, but deeply caring of those around him.
