Annual Ceremony of Yuletide

The Annual Winter Solstice Yule Ceremony AKA The Annual Ceremony of Yuletide is sacred to all Winter Gods and Goddesses but even more so to Father Winter, the Primordial Winter God. It occurs every year between the 19 and 22 of December. We say the height of Yule is the 21st of December.   The North Pole swells up with all Winter Deities and their nymphs and fairies. In a clearing a few miles from the compound and then the city, all gather to bring Winter to Earth. Santa Claus dresses in his light blue suit (Officially the Winter Suit). He always brings a gift to honor Father Winter. Nicholas's first gift was a tree with snow on it (the Tannenbaum). He then offers a blueprint for Father Winter's Castle. It is the Guardian of Christmas's duty to present a gift as a way to show how thankful he is for letting Christmas be a small part of Winter. This pleases Father Winter. After his gift, the Winter Deities raise their hands and call for Winter on Earth. This ceremony occurs in the forest surrounding Santa's Toy Workshop Compound and Center of Christmas and Spirit City. Nymphs and Fairies of Winter Deities spread the season over Northern Hemisphere long before now but the season is more stronger as it is time for Mother Earth to sleep. The Humans, or Mortals, as they are called by others, can feel the season of winter coming and have prepared the best I can. They have brought in the harvest and animals. They have chosen other clothing for the changing weather. All they can do, it is done.
