In Alana, learning spells isn't as simple as reading a book. While someone adept in magic can grasp the basics and secrets, casting a spell requires more. They need to either create it themselves or study existing spells, then put their own twist on it. Most casters keep track of their creations in a personal grimoire to remember every detail of their unique spells.
