After being found by Daphal and Abraxas, on deaths door, he wasreturned to health and spent about 40 years traveling with the pair. Several years after Daphal left Abraxas to take over the family business, Alucard and Abraxas part ways, exchanging gifts. Abraxas gives him the Coat of Protection, left to him by Daphal which belonged to his father before him. Alucard gives Abraxas
