Tezzamat
Tezzamat, commonly known as Tezzamat the Great is the founder of the Glorious Empire of the Jennar. Beginning her life on the colony world Tokath-shar, she rose to prominence upon seizing control of Farrix Family, and later initiating the conquests which led to the Empire's formation. A figure viewed with near-legendary reverence by most Jennars, her legacy lives on in monuments, names, and historical records throughout Imperial Space.
Some decades after the Empire's foundation, when she could be reasonably assured of its stability, she took a handful of trusted friends, boarded a ship, and disappeared into the Underzone. Explanations for this vary, from not wanting to be deified into the Imperial pantheon as is common its religion (as her death was not, and has never, been confirmed), to seeking to create in her disappearance a legend which would hold the Empire together, rather than grow sedate on the throne and become an object of criticism.
She was also one of the first Jennars to encounter humans, when one of her fleets fished a damaged ship out of the Underzone and brought its occupants before her. Humans disappear from Jenulan records after this, not recuring until formal contact over a century later.
