Slither

The wounds had no blood. Dana swallowed hard and took another step back, their gaze fixated on the pallid, lifeless figure sprawled before them. The specter continued to bob in the air above the body. Dana blinked and looked around in the expansive hallway. A sense of being watched crawled down their back. They heard a chilling sound. Something slithered in the darkness.
