Nahuara
"You're really not supposed to run headfirst into those, you know!"Nahuara is a dry region, composed of scattered deserts and oases, pale grasslands, and dry woodlands.
Life Amid the Sands
Deserts make up the majority of Nahuaran lands, ranging from flatlands that blend with the nearby grassy plains, to great dunes which loom on the horizon of the land's settlements, most of which are located on the banks of the great river which acts as Nahuara's southern border. Along this river, life flourishes, bringing with it stunning greenery seen nowhere else in the region, save for the occasional oasis. The Nahuaran people are very protective of their local environments and plant life, tending to the lands with care, warding off desertification however possible to ensure their greener homes remain that way for as long as possible.Baubles and Trinkets
All throughout Nahuara, denizens share one common trait: a love for baubles, crafted by local artisans, from local materials. Petrified woods and and dried flowers are among the favorite materials used in Nahuara, and many glasscrafters celebrate the ready availability of sand that lends itself well to the creation of glass objects. The sand found in the central dunes of Nahuara naturally produces a warm yellow glass, pale and translucent, without any special additives. Glasscrafters of many regions around the world attempt to copy this color with their own methods and colorants, but no one has been able to truly mimic the exact shade — glass collectors around the world get pretty snobbish about imitation Nahuaran glassware, I'll tell you.Floodplains
