Brightfield lives up to its name well, with its warm, sunny days, and fields stretching out as far as the eye can see! This is prime farmland, and is inhabited by many families who tend to it.

The Farmer's Life

Many delicious foods find their source from Brightfield's farms, but the most notable is the Dessert Pumpkin that is the pride and joy of the region's local Anseni population. These delectable gourds are the primary ingredient used in the beloved Anseni Pumpkin Pie that visitors frequently pass through Brightfield to sample in their travels.

Pursuing Adventure

Iverra is Brightfield's major settlement, which hugs the treeline of the land's northeastern forests. In recent times, the settlement has grown into more of a city, as the recent successes of its adventurer's school have drawn the attention of Avsovos and, by extension, many adventurers from around the world.
The growth of Iverra has drawn many new folks to its markets, as many new and exciting merchants and traders have begun to find their way to Brightfield, eager to make names for themselves in an economy that's picking up its pace day by day. The relative safety of Brightfield is likewise a draw for these travelers, as it's quite unlikely that cargo will face tragedy on the local roads.

Sugar in the Fields

Life in Brightfield is easygoing; the people lead calm lives where little tends to go wrong in the day-to-day — but a sickness has begun creeping into some of the pumpkin fields as of late, causing a mysterious rot to damage crop yields. If this rot isn't handled soon, it might advance and grow more severe, and the poor anseni might just have to say goodbye to their beloved culinary treasure.
