Physical Description

A pre-teen girl who's lived most her life on the streets, 'Ash' is so named because, for a long while, she lived in a mostly-burned home and would be covered with residual dust and ash when she ventured out. Without any apparent parents or guardians, one tends to question how the girl even managed to survive this long - that's a secret she's not willing to share with anyone.
With long (and often tangled) pale-blond hair and bright brown eyes that almost appear golden when the light hits them just right, Ash appears to be a relatively normal human child. An urchin, yes, and a bit on the underfed and overly dirty side of things, but, normal enough to not raise suspicions. Clean up the dirt and grim, however, and one finds she's a bit too pale - her skin a stark white save for the subtle marbling of gold veins. Celestial blood flows through her, granting the girl a subtle, innocent charm - and attracted the attention of her Patron and protector.
Ash is, all around, a cheerful girl afraid of what might happen if the soldiers found out she's capable of magic. Fear makes her shy and untrusting, but, this never lasts very long. So she hides, and helps, and takes only enough to get by - though some locals recognize the girl and are generous enough to share what food they might otherwise throw out.
