History
The Malchorion Family has always wanted a stake in the Meereenish slave trade. Having been a successful slave-trading family since the end of the Fifth Ghiscari War, they knew the ins and outs of the business and mastered it generations ago.
Lord Malchorian’s plan for ties to Meereen was laid before the birth of his first son, Koor, and carried out as soon as the boy was of marriageable age. Koor was married to a Meereenish slaver’s daughter to solidify the tie 22 years ago, a fruitful union that beget them three sons and a daughter, as well as granting the Malchorions wish for a forever stake in the Valyrian slave trade. Since then, they have been prosperous slave merchants, making them the wealthiest and most sought-after merchant family in Valyria. But as with all families who know great power, the higher you climb, the further you have to fall.
