Duchy of Karhaven

The Duchy of Karhaven started as a small lordship over an insignificant miners village. However, with the discovery of Gold in the area's hills it rose to prominence and eventually became the richest duchy in Navara. The two most famous dukes of Karhaven are Eamon Verhill, who conquered most of the northern Roxmore from the Duke of Drawneald, and Areyus Verhill, who suffered a prolonged and agonizing death for betraying Kairoz the Andorian.
