Golden poultice

The golden poultice is a newly discovered medicine made with the leaves and the sap of the *needs name*.

Discovery

The golden poultice has been discovered by Rusk Shruss. It was tested on himself by error while having Rotten scales and sleeping under a *needs name*.

It was discovered near the Acam Lake, where the *needs name* have started appearing since The dawn of magic.

Preparation

It is an easy cure to prepare as one only needs to mix a couple of *needs name*'s leaves with sap and crush the leaves until the only thing left is a dough-like sticky poultice. The difficulty of this treatment is to get the components.

History

Rusk Shruss was exiled from his tribe a bit over 10 years ago, after contracting Rotten scales. He roamed on the Mebe Jungle for sometime before ending up near the Acam Lake, where he decided to take a nap under the trees on the coast. He woke up a few hours later, covered in leaves and sap from the *needs name* and then saw that his wound closed up.
Few days later, he realized that the symptoms for Rotten scales had disappeared and that he was free of it, and after connecting the tree with the cure, he recollected as much leaves and sap as he could and went back to his tribe.
No-one on his tribe trusted or believed him, nor people did from other tribes, except for some individuals that had Rotten scales themselves and were desperated for a cure. These people and Rusk discovered the most effective way to use the poultice and since then they are trying to convince other tribes.

Use

The poultice is applied to the infected wound (if the wound is already scarred, it need to be reopened) where the Rotten scales started on the individual and leave it for a couple of hours. The poultice will keep the wound clean and part of it will enter the bloodsteam and traverse the body, cleaning any hint of Rotten scales. After a couple of hours, the poultice itself will fall off the wound (that will be closed) and while the individual will keep the ill-like coloured skin, they will be free of Rotten scales.
