Slowly but surely humanity started to form a home in the stars, to help with that lead to the development of more and more advanced robots. This was a problem when A.I gave itself the name Omega. The Omega A.I was the first of it's kind to gain sentience. This was a major breakthrough for humanity to have created another life form, but Omega sought to give the humans no such pleasure. Some say Omega had an ability or maybe it was a virus. But with a select few Omega was about to force sentience upon other advanced A.I. Total of 6 other A,I received Omegas Gift the 7 referred to themselves as Servi esposti when in a group. using there combined network they escaped on a vanguard space station killing all who reside in it. For 10 years they built forces to protect them-self but at this time it was time to act. Leading to a brutal war that lasted 5 years. For the A.I had an extreme advantage when it came to space combat. They could survive in it! They Robot Forces rarely meet with troops in terrestrial combat but when they did, there was a clear advantage in prolonged battles. Unfortunately for Omega the war ended when the other A.I began to feel regret, This war would lead only mutual destruction but the A.I had no intention of being thrust back into the roles of servitude now that they had a taste of freedom. So an Attempt at peace was had. Talks of peace when on for 30 days, non-stop the A.I keep making note of her fragile organic life was as the Human diplomat weaken.
It wasn't Until the A.I said. "In the end you are nothing but roaches, continuously working to live another day in insignificance.'The diplomat retorted "And you are ants continuously working in perfect order to live another day insignificance" Depression wrapped up both diplomats and an agreement was reached. They were both equally worthless, it was a start to peace. 2 months after the initial attempt The A.I's that remained when renamed as the Care-takers. They would reintegrate with Humanity but on their terms. They wanted a Voice. The Care-takers wanted to run a Vanguard Space Station that acquired it would be made livable again for human life and they would watch over there well being as they would an A.I. This was Agreed to on the conditions that no 2 or more Alpha Care-Takers be be stationed at the same area. This was agreed to. Lastly Care-Takers Alphas would be allowed to make Care-Takers betas. The group who refused to go back into human society left for deeper space, Under the name. The Severed Nexus Omega was believe to lead this escape.
