Antarctica use to be a inhospitable area until the warp-drive tests failure of 2065. Which resulted in the melted ice caps, and the after effect cause the creation of the Passage Rift it changed everything. Over time Antarctica became the seat of magic the capital of the world, the start of a new era.
Around the continent arose schools, research stations, one after the other, popped up. Miners came looking for Agolbathite explorers who were eager to journey to another realm of existence and the religious made pilgrimages the land, seeking answers to long unanswered questions. During the end of World War 3 it was thought to be lost in a valley of nukes but it was not to be.
