Kenai Kenal (Key-Nye Key-nahl)
Kenai is a drakkin grand master chef of the Kenal Clan of dragonkin.
She serves in Relyt Drak's household as the chef in the Saurey Palace. Her dark skin and light scaling on her face is unlike other drakkin, who usually have more scales than the light scaling she presents on her face and arms. Her horns, however, are prominent, unlike most other drakkin.
She was exiled from her home due to her wanting to train in cooking. The Kenal clan is a warrior clan and generally only eats food prepared by slaves or eats the food raw (or barely heated and unseasoned). Her obsession and talent is considered unseemly in her clan. She is one of the most talented chefs (skill-wise) in the world, and has cooked for kings. She was drawn to Saurey and to Relyt's service because of a message that he sent to the entire territory that prohibited the killing of dragons or possession of dragon parts without explicit approval from him. In a conversation at the dinner table, he admitted to her that he could not make the decision, but would use his best judgment on what claims to bring before Alkhana. This earned her respect and she decided that if the true dragons trusted him, she could too, as she had never even seen a dragon, other than bones, within her clan.
