This week I'll ensure I'm ready to go go go on Guardian + planning for Book 3 (SEEEKRIT TITLE). (AKA not everything I want to write fits into book 2.) Saturday at Anime Central Online, I presented (via recorded video) the talk Yakuza: Fact and Fallout. I was happy with the turnout and it was nice to be able to chat with the group.Streaming

My youngest completed her sophomore year via virtual learning on Friday. It felt so good to have that off our shoulders! So we played Rhett and Link's I'm on Vacation very loud after turning in her laptop. We also got her first COVID shot. Hopefully she will do just fine this week. I got a mild concussion this weekend. So I'm keeping things simple. Resting. I'm feeling good today, but not pushing my brain to much for a few days. What are the odds of a person being directly under a falling can of pop? Oy the odd things that happen to me and my crew! My crew and I are more than halfway done listening to Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett. (We listen during dinner.) I'd read it years ago, but it's fun to revisit and let my kids enjoy the book too!Upcoming Plans
Don't forget to celebrate Geek Pride Day and Towel Day on Tuesday, May 25! This coming weekend, Game Day with some dear friends. I can't wait!
