Pluto is a dwarf planet and the first object discovered in the Kuiper belt, it is further from the Sun than Neptune. Pluto is primarily made of ice and rock. The UEC uses the dwarf planet as an observation outpost. A space marathon is held every twenty years by dedicated racers going from Earth to Pluto, an incredibly long journey taking roughly nine years at normal speeds. The fastest racer clocked in at 4 years and 255 days in 2176.
