Kirya
A catfolk mercenary that is a marvel with a guisarme, oft using said weapon to trip large predators so that others can strike it more easily. She is great at baiting her opponents, no matter whether she's dealing with simple animals or wicked foes. Had the Shadow Lancers reached the front, she likely would have made a significant difference. Instead, she now is here in the valley, looking for a worthy opponent that is worth a lot of money.
As many mercenaries, she has some significant character flaws. First of, her sense of humour has no mercy for authority. Nobility, knights, mayors, none are spared her barbs. On top of that, she is a bit scatterbrained, despite her smarts. Inside combat, she is a marvel. Outside, she easily gets lost. As long as she has a leader guiding her, she ends up fine, but with the Shadow Lancers split up right now, she's essentially a loose cannon.
Kirya's motive is simple, she loves money. She also loves spending it, so despite all her grand talk about intending to retire rich one day, she actually occasionally has to build up a tab while getting ready to earn her next paycheck. Still, she is good for it, so she does get to build up that tab without being forced go without luxury.
