High Plains - Farmer Report
We can live here. While these plains are too hilly to farm everywhere, there's still a significant part where we can farm right now. Even moreso if we flatten some in this so-called terrace structure, allowing us to irrigate better. If we gather enough manpower, we can produce enough food for winter this year. The downside is those damn birds. We need to make shelters and always travel in groups, or they will attack us and eat us alive. 'Tis no place for children, that's for sure, and a farmer had best keep a good slingshot with 'em. So if we want safety, we do need to go down the valley eventually. But for now, we can both farm and hunt here.
