By the order of Some Higher-up, our Animal Squad investigated the Generic Location. We managed to uncover the old road and remnants of a logger camp, now inhabited by a group of monster type. There was no reasoning with these creatures, leaving us no choice but to slay them. We suffered little casualties, which were treated over night. In the encampment, we found traces of foreshadowing which the players are likely to discover more of on their first trip here. This text sets it up for them, so they're primed to recognise it. We do not understand it, the players will not initially either. Only by their second or third trip here, will they be able to realise what this foreshadowing is all about.
