Julia's pen
How am I gonna draw nature without a dark green pen? I need to find it again!Julia had only been in Urskoga for a couple of days when she sat down in the forest outside town to draw. Her father was out in the forest talking to another adult that he didn't want her to meet. She could snoop, but she had never managed to do that without her father finding out. That's why she had settled down on a stone to draw. She had her notebook, a snack, and her precious set of coloring markers. Her father had gifted this expensive marker set to her on her fifth birthday and she loved the markers to pieces.
When her father arrived to pick her up she packed her little backpack and they left for their temporary home. When they arrived home Julia wanted to finish her drawing. When she unpacked her marker set she realized that she had dropped her dark green marker. She didn't know what to do. Her father had just told her that a friend of his would stop by and keep her company while he went out to do some work. So she couldn't ask him to take her back.
Julia's father left and before his friend arrived Julia put on her shoes and went out to search for her pen. She found the stone where she had been sitting, but she could not find her pen. She knows that her father thinks that her safety is more important than items and she could ask her watcher to bring her. But she just didn't consider that in the moment that she left for the forest to find her lost dark green pen.
