The Illusion

The Illusion was constructed by The Shadow to trick those who remained under its influence into thinking the Shadow was the true saviour of the world. It was thanks to the combined efforts of the heroes Rita Winters and Aleksy Cole, that the illusion was completely shattered. But it was shown that the illusion could be shattered for individuals such as when Rita freed Vertissimo the Mediocre from the Shadow’s influence.
