A boardwalk on the swamp floor leads out of the Sog to a cluster of vast trees, the town of Great Smerth. Lattice walkways and ropes are strung between the trees, swaying like a web in the breeze and meeting where small doors are carved part way up the trunks. Neat, circular windows hint at the cozy dwellings within.
