A Witch is burnt on the stake in a village near the Rosewood Marsh. A day after, the villagers start to shriek in pain as their skin turns black. Within 3 months almost every settlement on The Gold Coast is infected by the corpus plague. For the next 14 years, the plague ravages the continent, with Lake Kadia and the Gomuri Expanse being hit the hardest.
