Sahif-Altwa'am

Sahif-Altwa'am, also known as Sahif-Onowa, is a legendary scimitar allegedly forged by Elmae with the guidance of Corellon Larethien given to the first Emir El-Hilal.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The scimitar diverges into a two-pronged blade. The first blade is said to be able to pierce armor, break shields, tear scales and buckle plate; the second is said to cut flesh, tear sinew, shatter bones and clip wings.
When this +5 scimitar hits an enemy, it also deals that much damage to their armor. If the target has a shield, it deals twice as much to the shield instead. If the target only has natural armor, it reduces its bonus by 1; this reduction is cumulative and permanent, and can only be regained by a regenerate spell.
On a critical hit, the target’s base speed is reduced by half until a restoration spell is cast.
