Obsidian Shadowstrider

The Obsidian Shadowstrider is a strategic vehicle utilized by military of Zirnyakil. Comprised of a tower atop six articulated stilts, which allows it to traverse areas that are impasseble for other vehicles, it emits darkness with a Shadow Veil and stands at a nominal height of 10 ft.
Despite their imposing appearance, Obsidian Shadowstriders boast remarkable speed, agility, and maneuverability, and move by magical means. The vehicle's suspension system is deemed to be "phenomenal" - open containers filled with liquids do not spill during movement, even while it scales boulders, and even if two of its legs slip. During and prior to deployment, it is manned by spellcasters and elite warriors for protection.
As the name implies, they are crafted of reinforced obsidian; strands of dark-hued enchanted alloys inscribe symbols on the surface, augmenting its durability and the effectiveness of its shadow veil. When deployed, these strands visibly shift in order to open access to a demiplane within the vehicle itself; the shadowstrider is at its most vulnerable during this process, and it compensates by deepening the emitted darkness.
Though the vehicle's interior design is indeed practical, it is anything but austere. The seats are cushioned, upholstered with velvet and slik, and intricate patterns, serving no purpose other than to be aesthetically pleasing, adorn the inner walls. All materials are treated, sometimes magically, to be able to endure the wear and tear of military use.
