Iserion

Iserion serves as a vital province within the devil-worshiping Empire of Ameros, ruled by the infernal council known as the Heptarchy. Once it was small trade route dominated by The Bafigron Empire, Iserion has evolved into a cornerstone of the Amerosian realm, with its culture, government, and religion reshaped by infernal doctrine.
Structure
Iserion is governed by a Diabolist Council, a ruling body of devil worshipers appointed by the Heptarchy. Each council member represents one of the seven devil lords of Ameros.
Iserion is governed by an Infernal Steward, appointed directly by the Heptarchy. The current steward, Archdevotee Anvorel Tzelon, maintains strict control over the province, enforcing the will of the Heptarchy with a combination of devilish might and ruthless efficiency.
History
Founding of Iserion
Iserion's origins trace back to its subjugation in 77 AB, during the expansion of the Bafigron Empire, when the native Isri people fiercely resisted their conquerors. In honor of their defiance, the land was named after the tribe, and it remained under imperial control foralmost 800 years.Vassalage and Subjugation
The rise of the Heptarchy marked a profound transformation, as the Empire of Ameros absorbed Iserion into its dominion. Its strategic location along the Conerith Riverbecame a boon for Ameros, connecting the Vales to the prosperous lands. When Iserion fell under the sway of the Empire of Ameros, it was swiftly restructured to align with the empire’s vision. The Church of Ashmedai was replaced with the direct oversight of the Heptarchy, and doctrines were introduced to enforce loyalty and submission to devil lords. Infernal architects reshaped the capital, into a dark citadel.Exploitation of Resources
Once exploited by foreign empires for its trade routes, Iserion now contributes its resources directly to the Empire of Ameros. The Conerith River remains a crucial artery for Amerosian trade, but new infernal industries have also arisen, including the harvesting of rare magical components and infernal forges producing weapons and armor for the Heptarchy’s armies.Military
The province of Iserion fields a formidable military force, bolstered by the infernal legions of the Empire. Soldiers are equipped with infernal weaponry forged in the dark forges and elite units ride into battle on hellsteeds and infernal drakes. The Crimson Vanguard, are such a feared regiment of infernal knights, serves as the steward’s personal guard.
